The Best is Yet to Come!

Good afternoon on this hump day! For most it is nothing but a downhill slide for the rest of the work week. However, tomorrow is MY Friday! Jeff's brother will be getting MARRIED (dun dun ta dun) this weekend! We will be gaining a great sister and niece! Family has already started arriving from Texas, and I can't wait to get off from work to visit.

Jared and Kayla

Our new niece, Kailey
Some family will be here that didn't get to come to mine and Jeff's wedding, so we are very anxious and excited to see everyone! So, here is to a great a weekend filled with love, food and family! (Yes, Jeff, I had to throw in food) lol!

My 3 favorites quotes/verses are below:

"Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction."
- Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance.
-1 Corinthians 13:7

"A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person."
-Mignon McLaughlin

Congrats, you three! ;)

Home!

"There is no place like home!" I always forget this saying, until I stay away from home.

Let's see it all started last week with Jennifer's wedding extravaganza. What fun we had! First was the bridesmaid lunch on Friday, with the rehearsal that night and the wedding Saturday. What a beautiful day it turned out to be, and a gorgeous bride she was.

Sunday came and I had to start packing for my work trip to Orlando. Had a successful trade show, although would of loved to of enjoyed the city. I did get to meet customers and talk to prospects (which is great)! Worked LOOONG hours and figured out which shoes I won't be taking to the next one.

I missed my husband VERY much and was very happy to see him last night. He is usually off on Fridays, and I will tell you I had to make myself climb out of bed this morning. I still feel jet lagged, and praying I stay well. The last picture was the last night we were there, we actually got to enjoy a great dinner on the terrace then got to listen to Michael Cavanaugh.
Enjoying our last night!

Back to work I go! Jeff has made plans for us to go "shopping" this weekend. If we find something to purchase, I will be sharing with you on Monday ;) Have a great weekend!

Love and Marriage

J has been working 10 to 16 hour days for 6 days and counting. When I woke up this morning I had a little happy. Picture is below. He is truly the greatest and I am so blessed to have him in my life. The past weekend consisted of showers (pictures below) and Jeff working. Definitely ready for some time with him. If you read this Squinty, I LOVE YOU and appreciate all you do for us!

The showers were for my friend, Jennifer, who is getting married in 11 days!!

Jessica, JENNIFER, Kim and Megan
and the second shower is for my brother in law, soon to be sister in law and niece, Jared and Kayla. They will be tying the knot on April 28th! Jeff and I are so excited to have them join our family.
The following pictures are in sequence. The card read, "Welcome to our family, Kailey. We love you! Jeff and Kim"

Kailey SO excited to open her gift

She got a bracelet with a "K" on it!

She was proud :)
